Briefly,

When you call to set up an inspection, you will be asked several questions to confirm the final cost. The pricing has a direct relationship to  the number of bedrooms. This matrix can be explained by a simple concept; as the number of bedrooms increase so does the square footage of the house along with the number of bathrooms and possibly the increased number of home mechanical systems. While we at Northeast Home Inspections try to keep the fee as cost effective as possible, the reality is, the larger the house the longer the inspection. The longer the inspection the more time required to compile and complete the report.

Two Family House / Home Inspection: $ 625.00

Three Family House / Home Inspection: $ 825.00

 

One to Two Bedroom Condominium /Townhouse: $ 325.00

Three to Four Bedroom Condominium / Townhouse: $ 425.00

 

Stand-alone Radon Test:  $ 250.00 ( Side by side testing required /Duplicate tests)

Radon Test:  Setup during the Inspection: $ 150.00 (Side by side testing required / Duplicate tests)

Additional Radon Test: Conducted during the Inspection: $ 100.00  (Side by side testing required )

Wood Destroying Insect Report: NPMA-33 Form: $ 100.00

 

*** Pricing may be subject to change based upon the sites' geographic location, additional HVAC systems, undisclosed additional square footage of the house, undisclosed crawl spaces, or any other undisclosed system that would cause additional time in the field. This of course will be brought to your attention immediately upon discovery. ***
 

The typical Home Inspection usually takes between 2 to 4 hours. However, we have found that extra time may be required when inspecting larger homes. We at Northeast Home Inspections will not leave the inspection site until you, the customer, feel you have had all your questions and concerns addressed. After that, usually within 48 hours, the written Home Inspection Report will be delivered by email directly to the customer.
